Medical Services

L.A. CADA Medical Services offers comprehensive integrated care. Our services include screenings, Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT), chronic disease education and self-management, nutrition education, pharmaceutical counseling, diagnostic laboratory services, sexual and reproductive health screenings, adolescent health services, family planning, HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, and STD testing and treatment.

Recently, our Wellness Center, also known as the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), has played a pivotal role in our expansion. It serves as a hub for our medical services, providing a multidisciplinary approach to care. This initiative spans across our agency, ensuring that most Wellness Center services are accessible not only at the center itself but also at some of our residential and outpatient sites.

At L.A. CADA, we remain committed to delivering integrated care and promoting overall well-being for all our patients. In addition to our core services, the Wellness Center focuses on overdose awareness and prevention, opioid reversal training, and Naloxone (nasal spray) distribution—a vital part of our commitment to community health.

  • Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) (Request Naloxone [Narcan] - MATServices@lacada.com) - L.A. CADA offers a comprehensive range of Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) across all levels of care to help individuals treat specific substance use disorders. MAT is an evidence-based option and is a key component of the full spectrum, biopsychosocial approach to the treatment of substances like opioid, alcohol, tobacco, and stimulant use disorders. These treatments have evolved to be safer and cater to people at different stages of recovery. These treatments can be part of inpatient or outpatient programs, and dosages can be adjusted to fit each person's needs. If you think you could benefit from these services or want more information, please contact us. Medication can make recovery possible for people for whom recovery was previously almost impossible. This program is funded by the Department of Health Care Services Naloxone Distribution Project.

Families should know that these are treatable
illnesses and that treatment works. All addictions are treatable.
People do recover, and I don't want families to lose hope.
