L.A. CADA offers a wide range of comprehensive medical services with the primary goal of reducing barriers to accessing treatment. Our services include health screenings, treatment for substance use disorders also known as Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT), medication management, counseling, psychiatric evaluations, ordering diagnostic laboratory services, sexual and reproductive health screenings, adolescent health services, family planning, HIV/AIDS and STD testing, treatment and prevention.

MAT services are available across multiple L.A. CADA facilities, Outpatients, and Residentials Centers. FDA-approved medications are offered to treat Alcohol, Opioid, and Tobacco Use Disorders. Additionally, off-label medications are available when clinically appropriate to treat Stimulant Use Disorders (Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Cannabis).

At L.A. CADA, we remain committed to delivering integrated care and promoting overall well-being for all our patients. In addition to our core services, L.A. CADA also makes our Community Behavioral Health Clinic (The Wellness Center) available to the community. The Wellness Center offers a broad array of convenient, no-cost services designed to support underserved and marginalized individuals, with a focus on accessibility, cultural sensitivity, and language inclusivity.

• Participants can receive same-day treatment and medication access.
• Treatment goals are individualized and not necessarily abstinence-based.
• Harm reduction approach, medication is delivered without lengthy visits.
• MAT treatment visits are available through telehealth and clinic based.
• Pharmacotherapy is only stopped if it reduces participants' quality of life.

Families should know that these are treatable
illnesses and that treatment works. All addictions are treatable.
People do recover, and I don't want families to lose hope.
