Withdrawal Management (Detox)

L.A. CADA, at its Residential Treatment Center setting, offers the capability to accept patients in need of a withdrawal management program designed for individuals struggling with substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring disorders. This program provides around-the-clock intervention for those experiencing severe effects of acute intoxication or withdrawal symptoms. It offers a secure residential environment aimed at individuals who do not require hospital-level medical detoxification. All patients will have access to clinically indicated medications to effectively manage opioid, alcohol, and sedative withdrawal syndromes that will be prescribed and monitored by a licensed medical provider.

L.A. CADA recognizes that Medication services are a core component of withdrawal management, whether initiated as a maintenance treatment or for the time-limited management of acute withdrawal or intoxication syndromes. For this reason, trained staff monitor residents and implement physician-approved protocols and procedures to minimize the health risks associated with withdrawal and intoxication.

The services are structured according to the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) designated levels of care and as defined by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Criteria 3rd Edition: 3.2-WM standards, ensuring professional and effective treatment.
