We are excited to announce that L.A. CADA will be participating in the upcoming Día del Niño celebration, hosted by Senator Lena Gonzalez and the City of Maywood. This special event is a wonderful opportunity for families across Southeast Los Angeles to come together for a day of fun, environmental awareness, and community support.

What to Expect

This year’s celebration focuses on youth engagement and community resources. In addition to the many local organizations and businesses sharing valuable information, there will be plenty of hands-on activities for the kids. Senator Gonzalez’s office will even be hosting a flowerpot painting station where children can decorate their own pots, plant a flower, and take it home to watch it grow!
