Assisting high risk and traditionally underserved pregnant and postpartum women and their families by focusing on reunification and community connections to support healthy family functioning.

WHO WE SERVE

  • Pregnant women age 18 and over
  • Postpartum women age 18 and over, with cut-off period at 12 months
  • Children age 3 and younger of pregnant and postpartum women to reside with the mother in treatment
  • Children age 4 through 17 and other members of the family unit residing in the community

SERVICES FOR WOMEN

  • Outreach, screening, and assessment of need
  • Detoxification referrals in a medically stable environment
  • Substance abuse and mental health treatment
  • Access to medical, dental and other physical services
  • Education in early parenting and nurturing skills for mothers and partners
  • Trauma services, including assessment and interventions for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and emotional, sexual and physical abuse
  • Assistance in job search, further education, and any other Case Management needs
  • Safe housing for women and their children
  • Pregnancy, labor support, and early postpartum care

SERVICES FOR NEWBORNS

  • Development diagnostic assessments for social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth
  • Access to pediatric care
  • Childcare
  • On-site Cooperative Children Center and maternal bonding period

SERVICES FOR FAMILY MEMBERS

  • Trauma services to address emotional, sexual and physical abuse
  • Assessment and interventions for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
  • Family reunification support
