Outpatient Treatment Services
Program Goals:
The L.A. CADA Outpatient Services strive to be a trustworthy and drug-free partner for those persons wishing to recover from chemical dependency, by offering a drug-free environment, support, and structure where clients can make and accomplish positive goals and lifestyle changes. The Program aims to strengthen drug-free coping skills, including communication, conflict management, and self-management techniques.
Program Staffing:
All staff are substance abuse specialists, supervised by licensed professionals.

Program Services:
- Comprehensive psychosocial assessment and evaluation
- Crisis intervention and referral
- HIV Prevention Education
- Case Management
- Individual and family counseling
- Psycho-educational and process groups
- Emphasis on parenting, lifestyle, anger management, honesty, and responsibility
- Drug-free family-oriented recreational activities
- Intensive Outpatient, Day Treatment, and Residential Aftercare
- Parenting Classes
- Anger Management Classes
- Specialized care for adolescents, pregnant women and homeless persons
- Referral for drug detox
- 4 and 6 month Drug and Alcohol Education Classes
- 52 Week Domestic Violence Treatment for Male Batterers (English & Spanish)
- Gatekeeping for inpatient drug detoxification beds
Program Eligibility:
- Presence of substance use which has led to health, legal, social, family, employment, and/or psychological problems as a result
- 13 years or older (special Adolescent Treatment Component)
- Not in current need of medically supervised detox or methadone
- Able and willing to attend program as scheduled
