HIV/AIDS Prevention and Treatment Services
Program Goals:
The L.A. CADA HIV/AIDS Prevention Services are designed to find individuals with high-risk behaviors in their own communities in order to provide care that improves health and prevents disease. Court ordered services offer information, education, and support to prevent occurrence of problem behaviors. The goal is to improve coping skills and support healthy lifestyles. For people living with HIV/AIDS, services include specialized residential substance abuse treatment and specialized education for health promotion and to stop disease transmission.
Program Staffing:
All staff are highly trained and experienced. They are supervised by a licensed professional.
Treatment Locations:
The L.A. CADA HIV/AIDS Prevention and Treatment Services are offered at all agency locations and community sites.

Program Services:
- HIV/AIDS Testing, Counselor, and Partner Notification
- HIV Prevention street outreach
- HIV Treatment Education & Education Groups at L.A. County Jail sites
- HIV Prevention for positives at L.A. County Jail sites
- Crisis intervention and referral
Program Eligibility:
- Willingness to participate
- High risk to contract HIV due to high-risk behaviors
- Court requirement for PC 1000 Education or Domestic Violence Treatment
